Donny & Marie Concert

The long awaited concert finally arrived!! My brother-in-law Mark bought all of us girls tickets to the Donny & Marie concert for Mother's Day, I know is that nice or what?! (Thanks again Mark!) So Friday morning we left to Vegas to make a day of it! We hit the malls, ate yummy food (including dessert for lunch and dinner), and went to the concert! Devin was Mr. Mom for the day and watched the kids ALL DAY! He did such a good job and was pretty proud of himself!

I've been wanting to go to H&M for so long because I've heard so much about it. Now I can cross that off my list of things to do. But I think I had too high of expectations for it. Bummer!Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory...delish! Bring on the cheesecake!
Happy Birthday to Kami! Don't mind the waitor's microphone...weirdo!
Our booth at the concert on the third row...Mark really out did himself!! Such great seats!
The concert was awesome! Thanks Kami for secretly snapping this picture! I never really realized how big they really were until I saw them on Oprah! I always thought they were just famous in Utah. Mainly because you'd just see them all over Provo. But I was wrong, they rock!! Now when I see Donny in Provo, I may just start to yell and ask for his autograph! ;)

I think we'll have to start making this an annual trip!

This post is for Seth Ollerton, Chris Nelson, and Ryan Hone. Love the 80's!!

Calling All Ladies

Sick of shaving, waxing, plucking, hiding that bikini line, but don't want to pay for laser hair removal?? Well, join the club and go buy this...
This is seriously a lifesaver for summer. You can find it at Walgreens.
By The Way, it doesn't even hurt. Just rub it on, let it sit for 6-8 minutes, then wipe off. (It's really made for a man's beard, but it does the trick)
Easy enough, right?

Two of A Kind

It was so fun catching up with my long-time friend Camie and her two cute kids Addie and Brigden last week! We met up at "The Bubble" to go swimming and our kids had SO much fun playing together!! I think Paityn and Addie were meant to be friends because they are so much alike and they were instantly friends! And a big thanks to my sister Abby for coming along to help out!! How I ever do things on my own, I don't know, because having an extra set of hands is a lifesaver!

Thanks Camie for such a fun day!! Let's do it again real soon!

Spoiled By Aunt Kristie

Hannah, Addie, and Sky have been staying down in St. George this weekend at Kristie's house so we met up with them yesterday to go shopping and hang out. We first went to the mall, then the girls got their toe nails painted. Each girl picked out their favorite color...pink for Paity! Ben was such a good sport with all the girls...he even told Paityn that "pink matches purple."

Then off to Old Navy for matching outfits!! Only sweet Kristie would think up this idea! The girls all walked around and picked out their favorite outfit and then they all voted on which one they wanted! Don't they all look adorable?
After we went to Durango's for lunch. I think I could do that every day! It was so fun! Who knew a day of shopping and girl talk could wear a girl out!!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

It was so much fun having another Girl's Night Out at my brother-in-laws house! Thanks Danny! When do you ever get a chance to have hand stand contests in the water, flips, and good ol' relaxing in the pool...um NOT ENOUGH! But let me just say how wonderful it is to have such great friends! Every time I spend time with any of my friends I always leave in such a good mood, more creative, more wanting to be a better person, and more wanting to be a better friend! I can't imagine life without good friends! Next time we swim, we'll do it during the day so we can actually get a tan too!

Art City Days

Well, I am kind of back-tracking, but I wouldn't want you to miss out on our "Art City Days" celebrations! (in the Bird family, long time Springville-ites, that translates over to a "National Holiday")

Another fun tradition is watching the parade outside of Calvin & Linda's house with everyone, then having a big lunch in their backyard! Paityn's cousin Sky always looks after Paityn and helped her get some candy at the parade! Thanks Sky!

I think I have a better picture now of exactly what Devin must have been like in High School!! Devin was the MC that night and I must say, he was hillarious!! He still makes me laugh 6 years later!! Plus it's always fun seeing all of his friends...I got lucky because he has the coolest, funniest friends and they have the greatest wives! It was such a fun reunion!

It was another fun year by all! We look forward to the city celebration every year!
