This is a pretty amazing interview with LDS Talk Show host of CNN show "Glen Beck" and his conversion story. He also had a pretty great interview about his thoughts after the passing of President Hinckley.

Glenn Beck Interview
Gordon B. Hinckley Tribute
I wanted to make this post since this weekend is General Conference, and will mark the first time in many years that President Hinckley won't be presiding at these meetings.
It will be a great opportunity however to sustain our newest Prophet and President, Thomas S. Monson. I'm looking forward to all the talks and music that will be given. I love General Conference and know that its our scripture for the next six months.
I Hope everyone takes the time to watch each session of Conference and enjoys this special weekend with family and/or friends.
My favorite tradition with Conferenece is of course the Priesthood Session, which i always attend with my dad and brothers. We watch the session at dad's stake center and then go out to eat after. It's funny to watch my brothers try and leave sometime before the closing song and prayer, just to get ahead of the crowds that will be at every dining place in town!! Take care and peace out.

One More Reason to Love St. George

We have had so much fun spending time with Mark & Kristie and their kids! They're the sweetest family and so much fun! Presley has basically been glued to Kristie's arms and Paityn wants to play with Ben all day long! I think Mark thinks he's got new roomates. Today Paityn, Presley, and I picked Brooke up from school and took her to lunch at the Pizza Factory. It was so much fun! Brooke is the sweetest, cutest, best dressed, most beautiful long haired girl! She reminds me so much of my little sister Abby. (no wonder they're such good friends)
Hippity Hop Hop

We had a lot of fun cOlOrInG eAsTeR eGgS Friday with Danny, Nancy, Zack, Mike & Andrea. Then Saturday with Steve, Meghan, Kanyon, and Scarlett. It really helped us get into the Easter spirit! Then we had a great time spending time with our fAmIlY on Sunday. The cousins had a BLAST! It's always fun getting together. Thanks for such a fun day!

Here's to the next few months!
Well, this is my new "home" away from home for the next few months. St. George has been pleasantly warm these past couple weeks. As you can see from the pic, this is my jobsite. Its a small project, just under $2M, but it should be an interesting "retrofit" and building addition. We're adding a parts room on the west side direclty in the middle where the white truck is, and also a crane bay on the north end of the building which is the side where the block retaining wall is.We will be removing all the existing asphalt and re-paving their lot, and installing a 300+ block retaining wall as well. Things have been going well so far and its been a nice change of pace for me in terms of work.
Our family has visited the park several times and enjoys spending time with Kristie's family. It was fun having Myles, Chief and his friends come visit this past weekend. I even put a few bucks on black (one lousy bet of $10 bucks in 2 hours). Thanks for the good times had by all. Go Cougs tomorrow! Peace out.

Best "Gay"cation Ever!!
As you can see, my life partner and I really enjoyed our gaycation get-away!
This is one of many poses we did for cameras all in fun to make our group laugh every day all day long. We really played this up at the formal dinners and activities.
We had a great photo at one of our best dress formal nights, but Myles and I were too cheap to pay for that picture. It was seriously funny.
There was even one LDS couple that said to us after seeing Myles' BYU shirt as we sat down by them on a ferry boat, that they thought we were gay. They were a little older, and Myles and I felt like saying to them, "well we were really worried about you guys dying on this trip since you look so old, geezers"! j/k
The cruise was sweet; we ate a ton, snorkeled, relaxed on the beach, ate some more (over 30 pieces of pizza Sabarro's Pizza size), performed on the Princess Pop Star Idol performance and won, and napped. Glad to be back now and able to eat Del Taco every day. Peace out.
