This years Valentines

I just found these Valentines on Etsy

and am so excited about them!

Night in with family

Last night, my cousin Mindi and her daughter Whitney,

my cousin Jessie, my aunt Sherri, and Grandma Lindsey

came for a visit!

It was so much fun seeing her little girl and getting a chance

to visit! (we need to do it more than once a year)

Our attempt at a picture with them both...all Presley wanted

to do was grab Whitney's face and hair! This whole 'teaching her

to be soft' thing isn't working!

Can you seriously even get over those big blue eyes!

Thanks for coming you guys! I love you! Let's do it again real soon!

Yes, we did celebrate Christmas!

I was going through our photos and realized I didn't even mention a word about Christmas this year, what a scrooge! (and it really was a fun Christmas)

The stockings hung in a row...not to mention the Bird tradition, everyone's favorite

Now this little girl decided to start standing up, thanks to the round of applause from everyone

The Many Faces

At least once a day I hear these words:

"Mom, are you sad?"

(me): "No, why do you think that?"

"well, why are you doing that face?"

"What face?"

(she imitates my face which looks like a sad face)

"I'm not sad, it's just my thinking face."

"Oh ok."

Later that day:

"Mom are you sad or is that just your thinking face?"

...MAD FACE...

...HAPPY FACE...

...THINKING FACE...

Looks like I better make my 'thinking face' a little happier!

New Years Eve

It was a very nice and relaxing New Years Eve this year! We got together with Steve/Meghan and Nate/Meri to celebrate! We all put our kids to bed in the other rooms and let the party begin! (although Paityn went to my parent's house to celebrate with them) It's so nice living by such wonderful friends!

Devin was our DJ for the night. He took us back to our Jr. High Days

We played Farkle (a fun dice game) and attempted at the Scene It: Movie Edition
