Miss Presley turns a fancy 3 years old

Little Miss Presley invited a few of her friends for a

Fancy Tea Party

in honor of her 3rd birthday!

Everyone was asked to come in their fanciest clothes.

Here's the table...

{I got lucky when I spotted this turquoise/gold teapot and all the brown/cream china for a crazy steal of a deal!}

On the menu:

mini peanut butter/jelly sandwiches

white chocolate strawberries

pickle/cheese

grapes

*brownie/ice cream sundaes with sprinkles for dessert*

As you can tell, things got a little crazy after lunch.

Trying to organize a bunch of 3 year olds was a (ahem) daunting task. So there is a lack of pictures or proof of anything after this point.

When everyone left, I realized I hadn't even taken any pictures of the guests. So here's 2 of our adorable friends.

It was a fun party. wild & crazy, but always lots of fun. I don't think I would have survived without my mom/sister/friend sticking around to help out.

Presley and a few neighborhood kids her age do a Playgroup Preschool together twice a week. There are 6 kids, so you take a turn every 6 weeks.

Each week the kids talk about one letter. We do an activity or coloring page, have a snack that starts with the letter, and other activities that may coordinate with that letter.

The last week I had the letter 'I'

It's fun to see them all interact. They're all such sweet kids! The boys are over ruled by the girls so they usually get talked into playing house and playing the role as 'husband'. NOT TO MENTION THE LACK OF BOY TOYS AT OUR HOUSE.

Presley officially now has a social life!

Big Girl Underwear

This little lady

is officially potty trained!!

For the longest time she was obsessed with wearing underwear over her diaper! She would tell everyone she was potty trained! Then one day we just gave it a whirl. I wanted to give up the first time she had an accident, but figured we'd push through.

Then you get to the point where you think, 'I'm too far in, I can't turn back.'

But needless to say, she was a pro! She hasn't had an accident through the night and it's been a month now and she's so great to just run in and use the bathroom, I hardly ever have to ask if she has to go. So we got lucky!! And now she can officially sport her big girl underwear!!

Let's be honest, is there anything cuter than a little kid booty??

Opposite of Potty Training

Presley's 2 best friends Adilyn & Scarlett are potty training at the moment. So now Presley thinks she wants to! She asks to sit on the potty at least 10 times a day, constantly takes off her clothes, and steals all of Paityn's underwear!

Sounds ideal right? Nope! Although she's sat on the potty she has yet to do anything on it. It's just fun & games! I'm hoping that one of these days she'll do something and surprise us, but for now we're just in the naked stage! (which brings me to a previous post where she is dancing naked)

This is Presley when we were at Adilyn's house. I didn't even realize she didn't have a diaper on. She also thinks this is how you wear underwear! That might be a problem!

Little Terror

This little girl is making life difficult at the moment!

She gets into anything and everything, especially the things I say 'NO' to!

She is such a busy-body these days! Into cleaning supplies, toilet paper, stairs, (you know this stage don't you) If it wasn't for her silly personality and sweet smile, I might have to sell her to the zoo!
