Sweet Trick

I love having holiday treats by my front door.

I don't know why, but I typically have some sort of treat/treats in containers by my front door. I would rather decorate for the holidays with treats because then you actually get to enjoy them too!

When I was grocery shopping last week, I saw all of the Christmas candy on sale at a killer price, so I couldn't resist grabbing a few bags. Then when I got home I had an idea. I put all the red, silver & gold in a glass container by my door for Valentine's, and put the green candies in a bag to save for later...St. Patrick's Day. That way instead of spending say $3.99 on a bag of Hershey Kisses, you're only spending $.99. (needless to say, I returned back to the store to grab a few more bags)

Anyway, I thought I'd just share that little tidbit of information incase anyone else likes to have holiday candy around their house too!
