HaPpY bIrThDaY tO dEvIn

I'm posting this one hour too early, but either way I'd like to send a SHOUT OUT to Devin and wish him a wonderful Happy Birthday! (February 27th) He's on a business cruise right now, that I decided not to go on because I didn't want to leave the little one. So I backed out and one of his friends, Myles, willingly took my place. No worries, I'm enjoying some relaxing time at my parents house, just kick'n it in C-ville. So I hope he's enjoying his birthday by: reading a good book, relaxing on the beach, eating lots of yummy food, dancing (yes, he loves to get his groove on), taking a nap, listening to good music, and occasionally thinking about me! :) Paityn and Presley are blessed to have such a wonderful dad who spends so much time with them and loves them very much! I feel lucky to have married someone who still makes me laugh at least once a day and I consider my very best friend! We love you and hope you're having a great 28th birthday!

A Candle-lit Dinner

Sounds romantic right? Well, romantic isn't exactly the right word, but fun none the less. Paityn and I set a bunch of CANDLES on the table, set out nice glasses and SPARKLING CIDER and the four of us had dinner together in the comfort of our home. Only, when dinner was over I thought "dang, now I have to do the dishes." Oh well, it was worth it! After that, Devin and Paityn fell asleep at 9 pm and I went to sleep shortly after. Sounds a little pathetic, I know, but really it was just a nice, relaxing night! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

2nd Annual Valentine Party

For the second year in a row, we had a little 'Valentine Party' at our house with some of our friends! This year we had a yummy dinner, then did a Murder Mystery Dinner which was titled "Till Death Do Us Part" and then we did some good 'ol kareoke. Let me just say that the murder mystery dinner was freaking hillarious, thanks to everyone's professional acting abilities! Everyone played their role so well other than me. I seriously couldn't stop laughing long enough to play 'Grandma Selma'. The food was yummy, everyone brings the yummiest things, the company was fun as always, and overall it as a great way to spend another Valentines Day!

V-Day Party

I just wanted to make a post and let everyone know how much fun Jen & I had at our latest annual V-Day Party. You all made it so much fun. It's fun to see 20 or so people have so much fun together, especially since we've been friends for so many years.

You guys are the best, and I just wanted to say how lucky we feel to have the "best" friends in all the world. Let's keep partying on, even if the baby factory is kicking in!!

Matt and Myles thanks for the singing of "America" Neil Diamond style! Gammell I think you won funniest person of the night award again for the second consecutive year. You crack everyone up! Thanks for all who brought food, drinks, supplies, etc.

Where does the time go?

I look at Presley now and feel like it wasn't that long ago that Paityn was a little baby and now she's a grown-up, 3 going on 13, little girl with a mind of her own and a personality bigger than her little body. She had so much fun posing for Meghan and testing out Meghan's new skirts! We had to keep telling her to put her hands in her lap because she was trying to pose too much! We just can't get enough of her! Thanks Meghan for capturing such sweet moments in time for us!

Fashion Sense?

I just had to post this picture mainly because I am constantly telling my family how funny Paityn is. She has became Devin's sidekick these last couple months and goes everywhere with him! She's now the second biggest BYU fan next to my husband! But every time she leaves the house, this is basically how she dresses herself! And then she waits by the door ready to go. Lately, she even has gloves on and a jacket! I laugh my head off everytime! Oh Paityn what a sense of humor you have! So here's our little nerd all ready to go!

Lazy Afternoons

Lately, we've been home enjoying those oh so lazy afternoons! I find them oh-so enjoyable, although I can tell that Paityn is feeling a little cooped up. (Myles did I spell that right?) Ha ha. Here are just a few pics of us hanging around the house and Paityn doing what she does best...being a very good big sister!

It's so fun to see how sweet Paityn is with Presley! I just can't wait for her to get bigger so they can play!! I'm sure they're going to be the best of friends with a few fights along the way! I always did love having a sister close in age...we sure fought a lot, but are now the best of friends!
