50 years old

My sister and I had such a fun time planning my
MOM'S SURPRISE 50th birthday party!!

I know some people were a little surprised by the location {Classic Skating}, but our thought
was to have everyone come with their kids and grandkids and have a fun night!
(plus it's fun to do something different)

So...we rented out the skating rink for 2 hours: 7-9 pm.
Ate yummy appetizers (including 200 chick'fila'A chicken nuggets: my dad's request)
We made a cd for everyone to take home with songs that remind us of our mom
{...my mom has an R&B soul...}
Plus we had them play the cd while we skated!

The best part of the whole night was my mom being completely surprised and all of the
people closest to her there to celebrate!

Paityn & Cameron (my cousin Jamie's cute girl): scooter buddies

It wouldn't be Classic Skating without the hokey pokey!

Family shot!

We about drew straws to see who had to tell Paityn the party was over!
The girl didn't get off the skating rink for more than 10 minutes total!
When we got home she said "Grandma, that was the best party ever!!"
I love you mom!! I hope you had a Happy Birthday!! You deserve it!

Looks like so much fun. I will have to take the boys to classic skating. They would love it.

Your Mom is so pretty. She doesn't look like she is over 39. You have such a cute family.
