Aloha

When my dad asked me to plan a family trip I jumped all over it!
We had the BEST time on vacation in Hawaii!! Not only did the girls talk about it for months in advance, but they're still talking about it! Hawaii was for sure kid paradise! We all lived in our swimming suits, swam in the morning and night, ate snowcones, and overall enjoyed the beautiful weather, food, and views! We stayed at a Marriot timeshare on Oahu in Ko Olina and we all loved the resort and location! All of us agreed that we'd go back and stay there in a heartbeat!

Dole Plantation
(especially loved the Dole Whip and fresh pineapple)

Laie Temple
(the whole crew)

Waimea Falls
I loved this hike! It was really easy and totally breathtaking!

The house we lived in for a few months. We had to drive by to show everyone.

My personal favorite was either laying by the pool or playing on the beach! Which of course was the girl's favorite thing too!

Thanks mom and dad for such a fun trip! We will never forget it!

Walker Weekend

A couple weeks ago, all of the Walker girls met up at the family cabin for a little crafting and quality time together! We hardly ever get to spend too much time together anymore these days! We have the best group of girls in our family! All of my boy cousins have married great girls too so our family is always getting better and better! (which is hard to top, I think!)

We all met up at the cabin on Friday. Dinner was at 6:30. My family got there a couple hours earlier so we could add a few girly touches to our rustic getaway. Erin + I packed up our cars with anything (and everything) we thought would fancy the place up! I grew wheat grass in different containers, Erin made that glass frame (below), and we decked the halls with many other little things!

Mary's family was in charge of our treat table! They had all sorts of delicious treats: red velvet cupcakes, rice krispy treats, taffy, m&ms, licorice....

For our first craft, we made these candy jar stands. (the red, green, blue & gold jars)

Steph (single!! does anyone have a cute guy to set her up with?), Aunt Kris, Mindy, Laurie
After the candy jars, we all brought up fabric and Mike's wife Alli taught us how to make skirts! They were so cute and so easy to make! Thanks Alli!

The next morning we made 'Happy Birthday' signs out of paper. One of the best parts about the trip was staying up until 2:30 am just laughing! I think it's been a long time since I've laughed that hard. It's always fun hearing our classic family stories and remembering all the things we did when we were young. We have so many fun memories and I'm so glad that we spent a lot of time together as cousins! I'm thinking this will have to be an annual event!

Sweet Sixteen

The baby of our family {Abby} is now the

sweet sixteen

So for her birthday, my parents rented the local ice skating rink for her and her friends and family!

Abby is on the far left

Here's the cutest newly-engaged couple:
my brother Kramer and his fiance Amy

Pres & I
Her skates were the smallest size they had, you couldn't get her off the ice!

Abby is the sweetest girl you will ever meet! She has grown up so fast! I think we all still treat her like the baby of the family! I can't believe she'll be driving and dating!! We always called her "the glue" because she was the glue that kept our family together!
We love you Abby!
Happy Birthday!!
(now figure out how to drive to Springville so you can come hang out with us)

. . . We Love Our Missionary . . .

I can't believe my last post was about Valentine's Day!!

(I just now stuck out my tongue and did a deep breath . . . FYI)

So, I think I'll be making up for some serious time; dipping into the last couple of months, because there was some good stuff happening too!

First off, my brother just returned home from his mission on April 8 from Brazil!
We were so happy to see him, but I didn't realize how emotional it is when they come home. I mean, I bawled my eyes out when he left, then bawled my eyes out when I saw him! I'm just so darn proud of him!!

I have such a greater appreciation for missionary work!

My sister had the idea to make the girls t-shirts.
I love how they turned out! (They even had a Brazil flag on the sleeve)
Not to mention, the cutest girls!!
Erin & Presley

Those are some HARD WORKING shoes
Here's the whole family!!

WELCOME HOME BRO!
WE LOVE YOU!

***Stay tuned for some exciting news, kind of crazy!!***
(No, I am not pregnant)

Mi Familia

{I heart all these people in this picture}

My brother asked for us to send him an updated family photo! So we snapped a quick photo to send to him on Sunday! I can't believe that he'll be home in a little over 5 months! I can't believe how fast time flies by...although we'll be very happy to have him around! Paityn literally blesses him in every prayer she gives, and even if she isn't the one saying the prayer, she reminds that person (in the middle of the prayer) to 'Bless Kramer!' It's so sweet! And with Presley's personality, I think she'll be happy to have a new friend to play with. (When Kramer left, she was only 4 months old.)

I'm curious to see what he thinks when he gets the picture.
