For years now my dad has been telling the same old story about me getting a popcorn kernel stuck up in my nose.Little kid + picking her nose + eating popcorn....not a good combination.
Enough said. Well during Sacrament meeting, Paityn was sitting on Kristie's lap and was eating these tic tacs. (see where this is going) She started crying saying her nose hurt so Devin took her out and saw a tic tac in her hand and put it all together. So he sneaks back in and tells me to come out. Sure enough, inside her little nose is a white, minty tic tac. Devin tells her to blow her nose, but she sucks in. Okay, not working, what should we do? So we rush home to get tweezers. Right as we pull the tweezers out and Dr. Bird is ready to operate, it slides right out. It's funny now, but definetly had us worried.
So I guess when they say "I hope you get a little one who is JUST LIKE YOU", it finally happened.

That is SOO something Owen would do!! Im glad little Paityn's nose it A-ok. I did get your message...i was on the phone literally ALL day with our insurance company..DRAMA! I will try and make it thursday...i havent talked to the husband yet...but im always up for a GNO! Where and when?
that is hilarious jen, i imagine that mint would start to burn after too long, poor paityn!
Oh man, I hope she is ok. Anjuli's child did the samething.
hahah! That is something that one of the little future Petersen's will end up doing....but as for me, when I was growing up....I put things in my ears! hahah! I'm glad paityn' had a minty fresh smelling nose!

My Daughter did the same thing about a year ago!! Except it was green!! These are the stories
I have had my scare with candy up the nose. When I was little I had a nerd candy go up my nose when I was eating them whilst laying down...It was completely traumatizing. (but my sister actually stuck a crayon up her nose and had to have our neighbor pull it out which took over an hour, us Tuckers are a mess)
So funny--- I am glad that Devin spotted it though. Gotta love being a parent! :) Hope all is going well. I think that it is awesome that Devin posts to... I think that I will have to try and convince Jake :).
