Today I met my sisters and mom at Gateway to go to lunch and shop for Easter. As we were leaving, I tripped and stubbed my toe on the ground which happened to be a rock pathway. Because I was wearing flip-flops, I sliced my big toe on the edge of the rock and it cut a chunk of my big toe. It was just a big flap of skin. (Sorry for all the visual details) It was bleeding like crazy so we bandaged it the best we could and went to the instacare. They sterilized it there, and he looked over it briefly and said that I would need stitches. So he numbed my toe. Which fyi the doc said that it would just feel like a bee-sting...it's been awhile, but I sure as heck don't want to be stung by any bees ever, ever. I'll be hiding from any bees all summer long. :-) After it was numb, he took some tweezers from his handy, dandy kit and looked closer at it. He said that it was already starting to heal pretty good and that stitches wouldn't be necessary. So I left stitch-less. The numbness is starting to wear off, but I'll be happy when it heals!! The moral of the story is to not trip on any rocks in flip flops!

Jen! Oh no! I'm so sorry you had to be numbed all for nothing too. :( I hope that it's not hurting too bad now. Don't you love when things like that happen? When I first saw this, I was thinking that Kanyon's accident proneness had rubbed off on Paityn or something. ;)
Ouchy Jenn! Be careful my dear and no more stubbies! Im glad no stitches happened and that your bandage is beautiful purple! PS. Your sister is gorgeous...your FAMILY is gorgeous! Congrats on her engagement! Wahoo!
Jen, seriously that is the saddest thing, so sorry. I am glad you are on the road to recovery though.
